Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in soldering, cable assembly, PCB debugging, and a strong understanding of circuit drawings. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, assembling PCBs into boxes, running acceptance tests, and loading software onto embedded computers. This role requires precision, technical proficiency, and a commitment to ensuring the quality and functionality of our electrical hardware.
Responsibilities:
1. Soldering and Cable Assembly: Proficient in soldering techniques for the assembly of electronic components. Ability to build and assemble cables to meet product specifications.
2. PCB Debugging: Identify and troubleshoot issues in printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve complex technical problems.
3. Circuit Drawing Interpretation: Understand and interpret circuit drawings to ensure accurate assembly and functionality.
4. Assembly and Inspection: Perform meticulous assembly of PCBs into boxes according to established guidelines.
Conduct thorough inspections to guarantee the quality and integrity of the final product.
5. Acceptance Testing: Run acceptance tests on completed products to ensure they meet quality standards. Document and report any deviations or defects detected during testing.
6. Software Loading: Load software onto embedded computers, ensuring proper functionality and integration.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
Proven experience as a Manufacturing Technician or similar role in electronics manufacturing.
In-depth knowledge of soldering techniques and cable assembly.
Familiarity with PCB debugging and troubleshooting processes.
Ability to read and interpret circuit drawings and technical documentation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Additional Skills:
Experience with automated testing equipment is desirable.
Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in electronics manufacturing.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Electronics Technician Requirements (Manufacturing):
Build / Test products, troubleshoot assemblies and circuit boards to component level
Production / Engineering: rework / modify circuit boards
Test cable / Test box fabrication
Solder / desolder through hole and surface mount components (IPC J-STD 001 Class 3)
Calibration: miscellaneous tools / equipment
Inspection:
Incoming: mechanical parts, electrical / electronic parts, populated circuit boards, transducers.
Final: assemblies, finished products.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
