We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Part-Time Human Resource Specialist
to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions
for our Amazon Delivery Service Provider contract. This position requires someone who is
highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Attendance Tracking:
○ Maintain accurate records of employee attendance.
○ Monitor and report attendance patterns and discrepancies.
2. ADP Time Card Management:
○ Ensure accurate and timely input of employee hours into ADP.
○ Verify time card entries and resolve any discrepancies.
○ Assist employees with any time card issues or questions.
3. Performance Management:
○ Document and track the performance of delivery drivers.
○ Assist in the preparation and review of performance appraisals.
○ Provide support in performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
4. Employee Handbook Administration:
○ Ensure all new hires sign the employee handbook.
○ Maintain updated versions of the employee handbook.
○ Communicate any updates or changes in policies to employees.
5. Recruitment and Onboarding:
○ Assist in posting job vacancies and screening candidates.
○ Coordinate and conduct initial interviews.
○ Facilitate the post training onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork
and orientation.
6. Compliance and Record-Keeping:
○ Maintain employee files in compliance with legal requirements and company
policies.
○ Ensure all HR activities adhere to Amazon Delivery Service Provider guidelines
and regulations.
7. Employee Relations:
○ Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
○ Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict
resolution.
8. Training and Development:
○ Coordinate and track employee training sessions and certifications.
○ Support the development and implementation of training programs.
9. General HR Support:
○ Assist with benefits administration and payroll processing as needed.
○ Support HR initiatives and projects to enhance employee engagement and
satisfaction.
Qualifications:
● High School Diploma (Bachelor's Degree Preferred)
● Proven experience in an HR role, preferably in a logistics or delivery services
environment.
● Proficiency with HR software and ADP systems.
● Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
● Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Additional Information:
● This position offers flexibility with a hybrid work schedule.
● Occasional on-site presence may be required for meetings, training sessions, and other
HR-related activities.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
