Our Accounting department is looking for an experienced and talented A/R Assistant to join our team.
The role of the A/R Assistant will be to assist with the day-to-day aspects of the accounting department. Such functions include handling daily bank deposits, preparing, posting, verifying, and recording customer payments as well as researching customer payment discrepancies, copying, filing, and providing excellent customer service, plus other duties as assigned.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- · High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- · Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Reliable and diligent.
- · Proven ability to operate related office equipment such as computers, 10-key calculators, phones, and copiers.
- · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- · Computer literacy sufficient to operate spreadsheet and word processing applications (i.e., Excel, word, outlook)
- · Knowledge of accounts receivables, preferred.
- · Preferred experience working with Sage 100
- · Solid PC skills.
- · Proficient in digital platforms. (i.e., Teams, Zoom, Adobe, Outlook.)
- · Excellent skills in team collaboration and communication.
