DIGITALVAR's mission is to optimize the delivery and support of scientific and analytical instruments. Our clients range from start-ups to global fortune 2000 manufacturers of scientific and analytical laboratory and patient care instruments.
We are currently looking for Office Administrator who is willing to learn fast and be a motivated team player.
Duties:
- Coordinate supplier purchase orders, with engineering, sales and vendors
- Maintain reports in Excel, operational, sales, supply chain data, as needed
- Bank Deposits
- Other general office duties, as assigned and directed by management
- Assist with operations of the business, i.e. manage utilities, suppliers, in/out inventory flow, some quality control (to be trained)
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate well, written and verbal
- Basic Project Management skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Strong / Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, able to work independently to meet deadlines
- Ability to learn Operations process flow and create documentation, a big plus
- Strong / Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience with IT operations is a plus (computer distribution, etc.)
- Experience with Inventory system (any type other than Quickbooks) is a big plus. Fishbowlinventory preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
