Job Summary:
The PCI & Network Security Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network architectures that comply with PCI DSS 4.0 standards. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of PCI requirements, extensive experience with network and infrastructure security. Certification as an ISA (Internal Security Assessor) or QSA (Qualified Security Assessor) is highly desirable. This hybrid contract position requires candidates to be based in Minnesota.
Key Responsibilities:
- PCI Compliance: Serve as the primary expert on PCI SDSS 4.0 standards. Conduct thorough assessments, audits and gap analyses to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Security Architecture Design: Design and implement robust network security architectures that meet PCI requirements, ensuring protection against internal and external threats.
- Assessment & Reporting: Conduct security assessments, generate reports, and provide recommendations to enhance security postures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into all aspects of the organization’s operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Certifications:
- REQUIRED: ISA (Internal Security Assessor) or QSA (Qualified Security Assessor) certification.
Experience:
- Proven, in-depth experience with PCI DSS 4.0 compliance.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in network security and infrastructure architecture relaterd to auditing and designing PCI 3.2.1 and 4.0 standards.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $95.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
