Tall Grass Animal Hospital serves the Aurora, Colorado community. We are a full-service animal hospital and offer our patients gold-star, AAHA accredited care. We are currently a four-doctor practice, with a collaborative doctor team and excellent support staff. We are looking for a new team member to help us continue to serve our clients.
We offer our clients access to top-notch care and have a beautiful hospital that includes high quality equipment, such as in-house labs, digital xrays, digital dental radiographs, and an ultrasound. We have access to a boarded dentist, cardiologist, surgeon and radiologist who all come to our hospital as needed.
We treat all pets we see as if they were our own, and we are committed to providing a consistent, ethical, and methodical approach to our practice. We are looking for someone who is able to work a four-day work week and who can rotate Saturdays from 8 am-noon.

Certified Veterinary Technician Role Requirements
- Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
- Associate degree in Veterinary Technology
- Tuesday- Thursday 7:15am-6:15pm, Friday 7:15am-2:15pm, 1 Saturday a month from 8-12am
Certified Veterinary Technician Responsibilities
- Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms.
- Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals.
- Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members
- Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications. PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Competently perform dental prophylaxis
