The Care Partner assists in the provision of patient care and clerical support under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Care Partner is responsible for meeting and maintaining established patient care standards and providing patient/family centered care while providing service excellence. At a minimum, must perform established Washington Health System Core Care Partner Skills & Responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable and responsible for the provision of patient care and comfort under the direct supervision of a registered nurse according to established standards, policies, and procedures of Washington Health System.
- Accurately reports information to the registered nurse.
- Assists with clerical responsibilities for assigned patients.
- Completes all technical skills and patient care procedures as delegated according to established Washington Health System Core Patient Care Skills & Responsibilities.

Department: PRN Float Pool
Shift: Rotating shifts, days, weekends, and holidays! (12 or 8 hour shifts available) (6:30a to 7p, 10:30a-11p, 6:30p-7a for twelve hour shifts)
Hours: 36-40 hours for Full-Time or 16-32 hours for Part-Time. This is not a PDM/Casual position, only Full Time or Part Time!

Ability to perform tasks on attached Care Partner Core Skills Checklist or achieves satisfactory skill performance within 90 days of employment.
Preferred

2 year(s): Certified Nursing Assistant or completion of a nursing assistant/nursing program, or two (2) years recent experience as a nursing assistant preferred.

1 - 3 years: One (1) – three (3) years in a clerical position in healthcare - including physician office or insurance billing - with exposure to patient records, diagnoses, or dictation preferred.
