Job brief
Production Supervisor will oversee our production operations and guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows.
Supervisor must be competent and comprehend complex operations. Supervisor should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. The goal is to ensure that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.
Supervisor must speak be bilingual- English & Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates
- Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
- Receive complaints and resolve problems
- Maintain timekeeping and attendance records
- Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
- Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
- Ability to recruit, interview, select, orient, and train new employees
- Skilled at motivating others to grow and be better, elevating the team
- Quick and appropriate resolution of all challenges, discrepancies, or miscommunications
- Dedication to maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques
- Understanding of planning, shipping, management, and inventory systems
- Manage daily schedules and track the progress of deliverables
- Preparation and presentation of reports on productivity, staffing, effectiveness, and success
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
