Main Purpose of Job:
Position responsible for all the Warehouse operation including inventory administrative task. Processing of material supply functions related to the production plan, by effective storage/issue and control the production preparation area and ensuring the complete fulfillment of the requirements during their shift and driving the Walker team, responsible for, GWP (Good Warehouse Practice), inventory accuracy and inventory freshness by providing acceptable standard of services, including the stock movement.
Position will be responsible for material supply tasks, validating material supplied to lines, processing these pallets to the respective lines, and ensure consumption has been completed. Ensure returns have been processed once production has been completed, quantity and batch verification need to be completed and finally material returned to the correct location. The successful candidate will work closely with production and warehouse team to ensure daily work orders are maintained and updated. This process is to support material usage, inventory accuracy and FEFO practices.
Role and Activity
- Ensures Appling and respects Safety and Environment Policy in your workplace.
- Ensures fully implementation of the Procedures.
- Raw and packaging materials supplied from the Warehouse to the “Preparation Area” must be supplied in date order, thus ensuring the First Expired First Out (FEFO) principle.
- Only released materials must be supplied from the Warehouse to the “Preparation Area”.
- Manual or ad-hoc material staging should only be used by exception (changing the part list) and to pe reported.
- Materials supply transactions should be executed and confirmed in real time by the relevant workorder.
- The split lot quantities must be applied in “Preparation Area” with a tag.
- At the end of the shift, a process of reconciliation stock check needs to be performed in the “Preparation Area “Return Area” is carried out and any stock differences identified are consumed to the relevant work order.
- Materials that are not used in Production and are not foreseen to be used should be returned to the Warehouse (return area). These returned materials should be homogeneous, physically covered, good storage condition and correctly tags.
- Captures any transaction data on the System in near real time and as close as possible to the execution time.
- Conduct the Cycle counting based on the agreed schedule for all Raw & Pack material.
- Isolate any non-conformance in a separate place and report to the supervisor.
- Review priority stock and ensure this is adhered.
- Identification of the potential issues within the Warehouse operation and evaluate the risks and offer solutions.
- Adhere to the site meeting rooster.
- Adhering to FRONERI procedures and standards.
- Always keep 5S in workplace.

Position Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older.
- Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
- One-year related experience (preferred).
Work Environment:
In this position, the employee will regularly work with and around others; in a wet and/or humid environment; in areas of high noise level; and around mechanical, electrical, and pressurized equipment. The work is fast paced.
The position involves frequent exposure to nuts and other potential allergens.
The pay scale for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The pay range for prospective employees in this role is $24.18 per hour.
