Summary
Responsible for performing a variety of services for our clients in a timely and professional manner.
Essential Functions

Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.

Assist commercial banking officers with wire transfers, payments, advances and client inquiries.

Assist commercial banking officers with collection of application items, requesting financials and/or other documents, client follow up.

Assist commercial banking officers with exception/critical reports.
-
Communicates with commercial banking officers regarding overdrafts, matured/maturing loans, contacts customer and/or insurance companies to clear exceptions on loans and other pending items, etc.

Ensure that correspondence received is handled and routed as needed.

Handles in-person and telephone inquiries; responds to request and inquiries, research discrepancies and resolves issues.

Notarize documents when necessary.

Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Carries out responsibilities with professionalism and respect for others in accordance with the Bank’s policy as well as to ensure compliance with Federal, State and Banking Regulations

Complete special projects and other tasks as requested.

Strong drive to achieve customer satisfaction.

Provide Reception coverage occasionally.

Participate in trainings as requested.

Ensure that all compliance with policy and regulations are being met to include wires and transfers.
Required Education, Experience, Skills
-
Applicants who have previous experience with commercial loan documentation will be given preference.

General knowledge of banking and the loan process.

Willingness to learn and adapt to varied and added responsibilities.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Strong attention to detail and conscientious proactive approach to delivering high quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of bank personnel, customers, attorneys, & title companies; ability to provide excellent customer service.

Ability to obtain Notary Public license for the state of Texas or New Mexico.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Adobe.
