The Jr. Application Developer position will be responsible for creating, customizing and maintaining high quality software solutions for the business. This role is part of the IT department and will work on tasks as assigned and work collaboratively with other developers, project managers, stakeholders and business end users to find innovative, efficient and elegant solutions to business challenges.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position will use knowledge of various Web, Service Layer and Mobile technologies to build and support a wide range of modern technologies. The primary development work will occur using Microsoft Stack of technologies, however the position will be asked to troubleshoot platforms in a variety of existing environments and code bases as needed. The Jr. Application Developer will rely on strong application development skills, debugging skills, testing skills and best practices to support and enhance business applications.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- 2+ years’ experience in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming, Microsoft .Net Framework/.Net Core, API Services
- Developing web applications with Microsoft .Net technology (C#, ASP.NET, JSON, JavaScript, etc.)
- Experience designing and implementing framework components and reusable code
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including Scripts and Stored Procedures
- Experience in JavaScript and JavaScript libraries i.e., JQuery, Angular, React, etc.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented with strong problem solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Unit Testing, Integration Testing and UAT Testing
- Experience with Source Control applications such as TFS and Git
- Experience with MVC and MVVM
- Experience with iOS App Store and Google Store Deployment Processes
- Experience with IdentityServer4
- Experience with Mobile Application development using Xamarin and .Net MAUI
- Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines
- Working knowledge of software quality assurance practices, including automated builds, deploying assemblies, web distribution methods and deployment testing
