FOH Manager
Traveler’s Table, a modern, globally-inspired eatery (and full bar) serving great-tasting versions of hand selected dishes from around the world, is seeking a Front of House/Bar Manager to help lead and develop a team in providing an outstanding guest experience. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-motivated, hard worker with excellent communication skills who is passionate about serving delicious food, creating an incredible dining experience, and shaping a positive work environment. Responsibilities/Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assumes responsibility with the other managers for the quality of the guest’s dining experience and the safe and profitable functioning of the restaurant and bar
- Helping to make sure that all schedules are done in accordance with the budget, and ensuring the best coverage for guest satisfaction
- Committed to operating within the means of the budget provided
- Works with the other managers and staff to assure quality in food product
- Assists with assuring that all purchasing is done for the best quality products per specification and from approved vendors. Assumes responsibility that all receiving is physically accounted for, at the quoted price
- Coaches team members to follow job descriptions, and operating policies and procedures
- Helps to ensure that staff training and development is performed correctly and thoroughly to ensure minimal staff turnover
- Train staff in all POS functions and all associated software
- Discusses weekly front of house goals with management and helps to ensure their completion, while accomplishing his/her own goals determined by general manager and owners
- Responsible for daily manager’s report and other guidelines for effective and efficient shift management
- Assists with maintaining manager’s agenda and opening and closing checklists for FOH
- Helping to ensure that all marketing strategies are planned and executed efficiently and in a timely manner
- Sharing responsibility for operating the property in accordance with all state and local laws and ordinances
- Committed to the restaurant’s mission statement as stated in the employee handbook-franchise operations manual
- Pledges to perform job functions while upholding company policy and procedures according to company operating policies manual.
- Operate ethically and responsibly to protect the integrity of the company and the well-being of work environment
Qualifications and Skills
- 1+ years as a manager in a high volume, full-service restaurant
- High School Diploma required
- College Degree preferred, but not necessary
- Health Department – Certified
- Must possess detailed knowledge of front and back of the house management.
- Must be proficient in budgeting, product ordering, perpetual inventories, staff selection, scheduling, training, and customer service.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
