AVIONICS INSTALLER/TECHNICIAN
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2-3 years of General Aviation avionics experience with Cessna, Piper and Beech Airframes. The ability to troubleshoot and repair legacy avionics systems, and perform the installation/testing and troubleshooting of the newer avionics systems being manufactured by; Garmin, Bendix King, Appareo, Aspen and S-Tec to name a few. Have or be willing to acquire basic “tools of the trade” tools. Also being considered: A&P Mechanic with license and the aptitude to learn avionics.
BASIC JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be willing to work with other and learn new skills. Perform 91.411, 91.413 certification test, troubleshoot and repair pitot and static system problems. Read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot existing avionics, and electrical problems. Read installation manuals and fabricate and install new wiring harnesses, antennas and radio racks. Open and close aircraft interiors. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and thereafter participate in the company required drug and alcohol program.
