The Cultivation Technician will play an important role in the cultivation of cannabis through the flowering phase of life in the various Greenhouse Zones. Hired team members will be performing all the cultivation tasks in regard to the plant from transport into the greenhouse to harvest. Essentially be the “boots on the ground” when it comes to cultivating.
Daily you will be working together with greenhouse leads and other cultivation techs performing scheduled plant maintenance tasks, maintaining the facility's general upkeep, and all other tasks ensuring the continual operation of the greenhouse.
To best succeed, the greenhouse technician should be able to receive directions from either the greenhouse supervisor and/or management, understand and perform these tasks in an efficient, and timely manner.
This will be a physically demanding job and will include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over, and/or crouching. As with all positions, clear communication, punctuality, and a strong work ethic with a desire to go above and
beyond the call of duty are important traits to have.
Personnel Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled plant maintenance tasks such as “lollipopping” and defoliation
- Perform the harvesting of the finished crop at the end of the flowering cycle.
- Assist with the resetting of the cultivation areas in preparation for repopulation
- Repopulate the cultivation areas by transporting plants from the Nursery
- Perform all other tasks involved with the cultivation of cannabis including installing emitters and trellis support.
- Maintain cleanliness of the cultivation areas to ensure a clean work environment and product.
- Assist other departments with various projects as labor
- Any and all other tasks regarding the general health of the plant during its time in the greenhouse
- Follow procedures and protocols set by the AZDHS to ensure 100% compliance with all governing agencies.
In addition to the above general, and expanded, job descriptions, this position might include other possible work depending on the needs of the facility, and management. Any additional work given that is still reasonably within the scope of responsibilities should be treated as an extension of current job responsibilities, and performed as such. Management reserves the right to allocate additional, or subtract, workloads and responsibilities as needed, and as seen fit.

Job Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of 21 years of age, must possess a valid driver's license or state ID card, and is authorized to work in the U.S. Experience with working in a fast paced, goal oriented environment and knowledge of cultivation of any kind is a plus.
In addition to the above requirements, one must be able to:
- Sit or stand while performing repetitive motions for long periods of time
- Work at a fast pace for prolonged periods, with high, sustained energy
- Be able to lift at least 45 pounds
- Work in hot, sunny, environments for long periods of time
- Pass state mandated (ADHS) background check
Upon accepting position all applicants are required to complete, and sign, company onboarding materials including, but not limited to, the companies Policies & Procedures. Additionally, this employment is at will, and the first ninety days are considered a probationary period where performance will be closely evaluated. If, at the end of the introductory period performance is not satisfactory then management reserves the right to suspend employment, if needed.

This position starts at $15/hour, depending on experience.
