General Summary
The QMS Coordinator, Ft. Worth, has the overall responsibility for the management of the site ISO 9001:2015 registration. Additionally, they will provide back-up and assistance to the site QA and HR Manager as it relates to daily activities.
Description
- Develop, Implement, and Maintain site quality management system (ISO 9001:2015)
-
Ensure quality objectives are met: On-Time Shipment, Conforming Product, and Customer Satisfaction.

Perform the function of host and local expert for customer and 3rd party quality system audits.

Lead Internal and external quality system audits as assigned.
-
Provide support for all areas as it relates to the site quality system.

Develop an in-depth knowledge of the QA test equipment and procedures.
-
Participate in daily QA lab activities and approvals as needed.
-
Assist with the continuous refinement of systems used in the lab.

Assist with MRB statistical analysis – all departments.
-
Oversee QA Lab equipment calibrations, order supplies, and work with HR to maintain training records for all employees.

Coordinate UL and NSF samples and oversee any on-site audits required by either organization.

Participate in special project teams as assigned.
Physical/Environmental Demands

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand for long periods of time.

Overnight and overseas travel may be required on a limited basis.
Qualifications
-
A bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Scientific field or sufficient combination of related education and work experience.

Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality system with lead auditor training/experience preferred.

Knowledge of formal problem-solving methods (8D, 5Why, Kaizen, etc.).

Ability and willingness to work under tight deadlines and support multiple projects at one time

Must have a positive attitude and possess excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work with, coach and develop others

Dependable, excellent attendance, strong work ethic
-
Safety awareness
-
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
