Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. Duties:
- Treat residents with respect at all times providing personal care; i.e., baths/showers, oral hygiene, skin/hair/nail care, monitoring fluid intake/output, toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, including those with dementia and other cognitive impairments.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff.
- Assist with medical documentation and record-keeping.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care is delivered in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Assist with routine tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Qualifications:
- CNA license required
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in long-term care, nursing home, or geriatric care.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients as needed.
- Familiarity with medical records and documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Commitment to adhering to HIPAA guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Experience in pediatrics, dementia care, or urgent care is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
