Job Overview:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer with 25+ years of experience to join our team. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various civil engineering projects. This is a key leadership role where you will collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure successful project completion. 25+ years’ experience in Municipal, Federal Agencies, and USACE Projects is a MUST. This position is full-time in an office. Must have a P.E. License. Must have experience with Cost Proposals ranging from $50K to $5M. Civil projects, including Levees, Floodwalls, Flood Gates, Pump Stations, Storm Water Management, Flood Control, and Hydraulic Structures
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
- Develop project plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Design and analyze civil engineering structures, including buildings, roads, bridges, and drainage systems
- Utilize software such as Mathcad, MicroStation, SWMM, CAD, and ArcGIS for design and analysis
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve any issues that may arise
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Experience:-
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 25+ years of program/project management experience in Civil Engineering.
- Ability to prepare sketches for drafting, cost estimates, and specifications editing.
- Computer Analysis/Design Experience Required. Autodesk Civil 3D, MicroStation, Bluebeam.
- Experience in the design and management of Infrastructure projects, civil works, or military projects, especially with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills and experience with client engagement and coordination.
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, including spreadsheet analysis.
- SF330 experience, with resume, scope, and proposal.
- Must be a self-starter, organized, and able to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to identify and resolve project incentive application issues with customers and trade allies.
- Diverse Government Portfolio.
- Must be a decisive decision-maker and team-oriented to manage parallel priorities.
