We are looking for an outstanding individual to join the nursing team as a Medication Administration Trainer. The primary duty of the Medication Administration Trainer is management of the medication administration training and medication and treatment management at the community to which they are assigned or providing clinical services within the region as assigned. The associate should be primarily engaged in non-manual work related to resident care. The associate is expected to use discretion and independent judgement in running the department. The Medication Administration Trainer is responsible for providing medication administration training and oversight of medication and treatment administration and storage.
This position will follow a schedule of training and compliance checks at the communities within the assigned region. You will provide direct supervision of medication passers to include collaboration with the Health Care Director on hiring, training, coaching or discipline, staffing, performance evaluations, advancement, separation and related supervisory duties, with the primary focus of monitoring the effective delivery of service to residents. This position reviews resident service records and treatment and medication books to assure quality of care, verifying physician orders, move-in/move-out information and initiate appropriate action and follow-up.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Must be recognized Pennsylvania Medication Administration Training Course Trainer
- Active RN or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on medication management preferred
- Strong understanding of pharmacology, medication administration, and drug interactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in electronic medication administration records (eMAR) systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in personal care, long-term care, hospice, or home health settings
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines related to medication management
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
