We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care, manage pain and symptoms, and offer emotional support to patients and their families during this critical time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding disease progression and end-of-life care.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and comprehensive care.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Preferred but not necessary, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in hospice, palliative care, or a related field
- Adherence to professional standards and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle emotionally charged situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and current CPR certification.
- Familiarity with hospice philosophy and terminally ill patients' needs.
