Responsibilities
- Effectively carry out the treatment plan of care developed by the PT. This could include performing Patient education, Manual Therapy, therapeutic exercises, Ultrasound therapy, laser therapy, EMG Biofeedback, perineal mobilization, electrical stimulation, etc directly to the vagina/ perineal region for men. Training, supervision, and mentorship will be provided but previous educational, experience, training or exposure to Pelvic floor PT is required.
Skills
- Pelvic Floor 1 certified from APTA or Hermann and Wallace
- Physical Therapy Assistant License
- Intensive education and clinical expertise
