Restaurant General Manager Level :
High Potential / Skilled leadership Opportunity:
We are looking for a skilled restaurant operations leader to join our team and manage all aspects of an existing Dairy Queen operation located in Kilmarnock, VA. To facilitate this role, our candidate will be expected to travel to a Dairy Queen training location to learn all the ins/outs of operating a DQ franchise and maintain compliance with all DQ operational standards. Our candidate will have a successful restaurant operations background and should be skilled in kitchen operations and fast casual dining. This position will require hands of leadership and a strong commitment to people development at every level of the business. Please note: this search is for proven leaders that have a strong resume with quality brands and excellent tenure throughout their career.
Specific Duties Include:
- Be an ambassador of the Dairy Queen brand and be professional in every aspect of performance
- Enthusiastically greet and welcome operational staff and customers to the Dairy Queen brand
- Work with the Assistant Manager(s) on all aspects of the operation to include the training and coaching of crew members to build a highly skilled and productive team
- Ensure that the restaurant is properly organized, staffed and operating in a manner consistent with both DQ standards as well as Franchisee standards.
- Be a willing team player and maintain a cooperative, harmonious working relationships with DQ leadership, the Franchisee, store management and team members
- Models performance standards for all team members and work stations
- Exhibit a genuine passion for excellence at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience managing a high volume quick service restaurant environment required. Multi-unit experience a plus
- Proven ability to create opportunities and leverage strengths to grow the business
- Strong financial knowledge and analysis capabilities with P&L’s, labor/expense controls and facility management
- Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices
- Must be ServSafe® certifiable
- Must work a flexible schedule of days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Highly organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task effectively
- Work well under pressure packed situations while maintaining a great attitude
- Must be able to work with the Franchisee and the corporate office in regards to the creating, supporting and training of store policy and procedure, which will be amended from time to time as situations arise.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
