Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the grocery store market and possess strong leadership skills to manage daily operations effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding service and meet performance goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Manage cash handling procedures, including operating the cash register and preparing daily deposits
- Monitor expenses, create budgets, and analyze financial reports to control costs effectively
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a grocery store or market setting
- Strong understanding of retail math, budgeting, and inventory control
- Ability to sell products effectively and drive sales growth
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures and operating a cash register
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse customers and staff
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role is advantageous
