The Family Pet Clinic is looking for a skilled, compassionate, and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! *Ohio licensure required.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Assisting our doctors with surgery and procedures.
- Performing dental cleanings.
- Monitoring anesthesia.
- Placing IV catheters.
- Taking x-rays and assisting with ultrasound.
- Conduct appointments, restrain patients and invoice services.
- Process lab samples, perform blood draws, and prepare prescriptions.
- Preparation of surgical instruments, gowns, towels and necessities.
- Charting and logging patient information.
- Handling, administering and logging controlled substances.
Additional Skills Required:
- Attentive.
- Self-driven.
- Organized.
- Excellent communication.
- Ability to contribute and work in a team atmosphere.
We would love if candidates had 6 months of veterinary experience BUT are definitely willing to train a mature, focused, and quick to learn individual! If you are hungry for knowledge and experience - we are the place for you!
