About the Position
We are looking for a driven and energetic Business Development Representative to join our Inside Sales team and help us grow our business. We are seeking candidates with a great attitude, willingness to learn and grow and a personal drive to succeed.
Business Development Representative works as the tip of the spear producing and driving business for a company. Developers are in charge of generating new client business through networking and follow up on recommendations.
Your role will be to seek new business opportunities and set quality appointments by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to engage with clients to assess their marketing needs. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- No fear proactive approach to new business development through cold-calling, emails marketing campaigns and networking to create qualified sales leads and set appointments
- Generate new sales opportunities and add qualified leads to the sales funnel
- Engage with clients to assess their marketing needs
- Analyze market reports to determine where to seek out new business
- Establish contact with new business opportunities via various means
- Maintain positive growth in your market area
- Ability to prioritize different projects and stay on schedule
- Outstanding communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce.com or similar)
- A familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
- We are a team and anticipate you’ll participate actively in engagement activities, selling contests and other elements of our culture.
What you bring to the table:
- 2+ years in a lead generation field, Sales Account Executive or similar role
- College Degree or the equivalent related work experience, Media sales experience a real plus
- Experience in high volume outbound sales, telemarketing and/or other queue-based sales environment is required
- Ability to identify sales opportunities and communicate the benefits of our audience-based marketing solutions to fill client needs
- Excellent interpersonal capability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

The hourly rate for this role will range between $16.44 and $19.24. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, etc.
