Position: Foster Care Caseworker

KidsPeace invites you to join our mission-driven team of professionals who provide hope, help, and healing to children in our Foster Care setting, and the family members, who love them.
Description of Responsibilities:
· Attend and/or lead regularly scheduled meetings with the client to help in the resolution of problems, to enhance interpersonal skills, and to reinforce the work of, and adjustment to the treatment family.
· Participate in the development and on-going maintenance of documentation for clients to include, but not limited to: case notes, strength based, individualized service plans, and monthly reports, in order to reduce risk, promote safety & work to achieve permanency.
· Intervene in crisis or conflict situations in the treatment family homes assigned, moving toward the resolution of problems and re-defining new goals.
· Act as advocate and liaison for clients with other professional service providers in the community and within the KidsPeace organization as necessary.
· Participate in the on-call rotation

Required Qualifications:
· A bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related Human Service degree with 2 years experience working with children and families.

Pay: $43,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
