Primary Responsibilities:
- Supports the Mission, Values and Vision of Range Development Company.
- Is knowledgeable of resident rights and ensures an atmosphere that allows the privacy, dignity and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environment.
- Support, cooperates with, and implements specific procedures and programs for:
- Safety – including universal precautions and safe work practices.
- Quality Assurance and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Compliance with current law and policy to provide a work environment free from sexual harassment and illegal and discriminatory behavior.
- Supports and participates in common teamwork.
- Cooperates and works together with all co-workers; plan and complete job duties with minimal supervision direction, including appropriate judgment
- Uses tactful, appropriate communications in all situations.
- Follows up as appropriate with supervisor, co-workers or residents regarding reported complaints, problems and concerns.
- Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.
- Completes requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, uniform and dress codes including personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned.
Examples of Duties:
- Requires work in damp, dusty, and dirty areas. Must clean up human waste and other body fluids, as required.
- Responsible for the disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials.
- Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc.
- Follow all housekeeping policies and procedures
- Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment/materials are maintained in a safe, clean and efficient working condition.
- Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or redesigned upon individual circumstances.
Working Conditions:
- Primary responsibilities will be conducted in resident rooms and common areas of the facilities
- Exposure to body fluids, infection, odors, and behavior of residents that may be aggressive, combative or demanding
- Exposure to chemical and respiratory hazards is possible
