THIS IS A SET SCHEDULED POSITION THAT INCLUDES EVERY OTHER WEEKEND.
This position is a direct care position working directly with the individuals that receive Individualized Home Support (IHS) service from Enriched Living. These staff are responsible for assisting the individuals we support to complete their daily/weekly goals and support them so they are able to remain in community housing.
Available Positions: Saint Paul
- Monday-Tuesday & every other weekend 8am-4pm (PT)

Duties and responsibilities
- Provide Crisis prevention/intervention services to the people served.
- Monitor the people supported for symptoms of decompensation, crisis and medication side effects, and intervenes when necessary.
- Incorporate the CSSP and CSSP Addendum into daily interaction with the people served.
- Assist the people supported with problem solving different aspects of independent living.
- Maintain complete and proper documentation for direct service hours, and fully complete documentation prior to leaving a scheduled shift.
- Participate in scheduled and spontaneous recreational events (while still following the Enriched Living Transportation Policy).
- Maintain confidentiality by complying with HIPAA and MN Data Privacy.
- Adhere to your weekly schedule, arrive on time, etc.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings, and other meetings requested by the DC/DM.
- Maintain clear, open, and honest communication with program management.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience working with adults with disabilities, mental illness or chemical dependency OR an associate degree or higher in human services or related field.
- Ability to write reports, program summaries, and other correspondences with support teams.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from medical professionals, management, staff, people served, and regulatory authorities.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general human services periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
Working conditions
This job will require you to work in one location, in the home of the person you are assigned to support. Other times you will be required to spend time at the office participating in staff meetings, or meeting with management.
Physical requirements
You must be able to perform all physical skills required by Enriched Living Positive Supports Training. This includes the ability to perform and emergency use of manual restraint, both standing and in the supine position, as well as other skills.
