As a Senior CAD Technician, you will manage, draft, and design projects, taking ownership from start to finish
- Draft and design projects such as commercial and residential developments, municipal projects, transportation projects and more.
- Be enthusiastic, dedicated, and self-disciplined to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines, answering to various engineers and project managers.
- Prepare plans and layouts generated in AutoCAD 3D Civil or other design software.
- Produce accurate output with a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Manage project data files from various sources.
- Be proactive and responsive in effectively communicating with colleagues and clients, both in-person and virtually/remotely.
- Advanced skills using Bentley/Microstation and AutoCAD/Civil 3D required; experience with Microstation ORD a plus.
- Experienced in detailing as well as plan and profile, site plans, drainage, grading, utilities (profiles), SWPPP, broadband, and associated items.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings; ability to think 3-dimensionally.
- Must be able to work independently with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks, with competing priorities.
- Be a professional, creative, team-focused individual that works well with others in a team environment.
- 5-10 years’ experience utilizing AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience and training may be considered
