Roles and Responsibility:
- System level display validation of different display types such monocular, binocular, LCD/LCOS/Mico-OLED electronics and their optical components
- Lead the validation of the wearable w/display product line.
- Drive display functional validation using measurable display specifications. Define, specify and document the required test equipment and procedures required for validation testing.
- Electro-Optic system development for the consumer electronics and embedded systems
- Develop comprehensive display system and sub-system level test specifications, manage and execute test plans, and provide feedback to development teams
- Work closely with cross-functional team members and clients to produce high quality engineering solutions
- Generate informative test reports that include data and analysis with insights into the data's interpretation.
- Skilled in display validation tools such as color analyzers, colorimeters, Radiant camera, etc.
- Identify and troubleshoot display-related issues, working closely with the hardware and software teams to narrow down the problems
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in display technology and apply this knowledge to improve the performance of our wearable products
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics (EE) and/or training in Display/Optics with 5-10 years of experience in System Validation role for consumer electronics or related field
- Skilled in reading and interpreting electric, electronic, and optic system drawings and schematics
- Ability to specify test specs and test equipment needed for proper validation testing
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Experience in technical documentation and report generation.
- Experience with display interfaces DSI/MIPI, eDP.
