We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager (Furniture) to join our Business Development team located in El Monte, CA.

Job Summary:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within our Furniture division. This position will prospect new customers, follow up on existing and newly created leads. Will introduce new products from our B2B platform to our customers, will provide B2B platform training to new customers and serve as a liaison and primary point of contact between customers and operations team.
WHAT DOES THIS ROLE INVOLVE?
Essential Job Duties:
- Prospect new customers, follow up on existing and newly created leads
- Cold calling, arranging conference calls/meetings, follow up.
- Introductory & follow-up calls to new customers
- Provide B2B platform training to new customers
- Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact between customers and the operation team
- Introduction of new products from our B2B platform to customers
- Guide leads/company through sales process to ensure they understand our various products and services.
- Work with operations team to properly on-board new customers
- Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact between clients and operation team until clients transfer status to House Account (6 months).
- Assist new customers with placing orders and answering any questions on orders
- Work with management to achieve company productivity and performance objectives.
- Other duties as assigned by department supervisor, manager, and/or executive management.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business and or marketing field.
- Generally requires 5+ years or more of sales and/or account management experience in the furniture industry.
- Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in the logistics industry.
- Relevant B2B e-commerce experience.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events as needed.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
Competitive Pay - The U.S. base annual salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 to $64,480 plus commission. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
