Position Overview: The Assessment Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our psychologists with all aspects of the assessment process. This includes scheduling appointments, checking insurance benefits, creating and managing assessment questionnaire links, coordinating workflow, preparing daily materials for psychologists, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, flexibility, multitasking abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills. An understanding of psychological testing is a bonus, but training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and Coordination:
- Schedule assessment appointments and manage the calendar for multiple psychologists.
- Coordinate the workflow to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Create and distribute links for assessment questionnaires to clients.
- Administrative Support:
- Check and verify insurance benefits for assessment services.
- Prepare and organize materials needed for psychologists each day.
- Close out tasks at the end of each day, ensuring all administrative duties are completed.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, psychologists, and other team members.
- Provide clients with necessary information regarding their assessments and address any questions or concerns.
- Attention to Detail:
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Monitor the progress of assessments and follow up as needed to ensure timely completion.
- Flexibility and Multitasking:
- Adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and shift tasks as needed.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments.
- Basic understanding of psychological testing is a bonus, but training will be provided.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with learning new software systems.
- Previous experience in a medical or psychological office setting is preferred but not required.
