As the Vice President of Pricing at MasterControl, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing pricing strategies that drive revenue optimization and maximize value for both the company and its clients. Your responsibilities will include designing comprehensive pricing strategies, collaborating cross-functionally, monitoring performance, and staying informed about market trends and regulatory changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Pricing Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive pricing strategy aligned with MasterControl's overarching goals and objectives. Leverage market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to formulate pricing models that maximize value for both the company and its clients. Define the product package aligned to buyer needs for all products and services.
- Drive Revenue Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize pricing across different customer segments, geographies, and product lines. Establish discounting rules and pricing policies for sales organization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Chair monthly pricing committee for cross-functional decision making. Orchestrate pricing & packaging updates and rollouts across organization.
- Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Establish robust metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of pricing strategies and initiatives. Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement, mitigate risks, and capitalize on emerging opportunities. Provide regular reports and insights to the executive team and board of directors.
- Market research: Stay informed about market trends, competitive pricing intelligence and regulatory changes that may impact pricing strategies. Conduct pricing and packaging research to identify value drivers, market appeal, and willingness to pay.
Qualifications
- 10+ years track record of success in pricing strategy development and implementation, 3-4+ years within the SaaS industry or related technology sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions. Strategy consulting or finance background in addition to prior experience in saas technology organization preferred
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated ability to formulate and execute effective pricing strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Deep understanding of pricing methodologies, competitive dynamics, and market trends within the SaaS industry.
- Proven ability to thrive in a global organization, with experience working across diverse cultures and geographies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $x,000 to $x,000 + variable + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
