We need to expand our team with 2 experienced Veterinary Assistants. Veterinary Assistants support the Licensed Veterinary Technicians and Doctors by helping to provide high quality care in a safe environment for our patients and clients. We are looking for candidates that can work well with our team and are interested in growing with our clinic and having a long-term career.
If you have experience, and the desire to learn and gain knowledge from working in an emergency clinic setting, this is the opportunity for you. You must be able to work weekends, holidays and be flexible to work a variety of shifts including overnight.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Patient triage
- Admitting and discharging patients
- Going over discharge instructions and medications with clients
- Assisting Doctors and support staff when needed
- Managing communications between Doctors and clients
- Maintenance of exam rooms
- Filling prescriptions (after additional training and a Veterinarian Medical Clerk License is obtained from the State of Washington.)
- Presenting estimates to clients
