Principal Duties and Responsibilities*:
- Performs and assists others in investigation of Customer Complaints, product discrepancies and in-process nonconformance.
- Performs and assists others in performance of Internal Audits of the AS9100D Quality Management System
- Implementation of Corrective and Preventive Action
- Verification of Effectiveness of implemented Corrective and Preventive Action
- Prepares monthly key performance indicator reports for Customer Complaint and CAPA systems.
- Performs and assists others in Identifies opportunities for process improvements.
- Support development, implementation, continuous improvement and maintenance of the quality management system.
- Creates and updates quality management system documents (i.e., procedures, work instructions, forms...) as necessary.
- Performs and assists others in the review, tracking and trending of field complaints, product discrepancies and in-process nonconformance.
Work Environment:
This role is performed in professional office environment and manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment as well as precision measurement and inspection equipment. Minimal travel is expected.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Computer skills (Excel, Word, Power point).
- Basic knowledge of ISO Standards (9001).
- Basic knowledge of AS9100 Rev. D
- Ability to read, comprehend, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations. Ability to write reports and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to complex questions.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Strong organizational, project management and communication skills and the ability to perform varied tasks in a disciplined, consistent manner.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
International Trade in Arms Regulations (ITAR):
- Must be either; US Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
