We are a locally owned business in the Kuna, ID, area. We have been in business since 1998 and were previously called El Gallo Giro. In 2015 we changed the name to represent the man who made this restaurant a staple, Enrique. Enrique is a hands-on owner who is fearless in helping and guiding his team. Our customers have high expectations when they enter, and our mission is to meet or exceed these expectations. We are looking for full-time employees. Tuesday - Saturday with 30-34 hours per week.
We are looking for an upbeat Hostess to work variable shifts, including weekends. The ideal candidate loves making small talk with customers and is willing to learn patrons’ names in our small-town establishment. Some back-of-house assistance might be required, such as inspecting/cleaning restrooms, restocking workstations, etc. We need to hear from you if you love the restaurant business and genuinely enjoy people!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Seating and presenting clean menus to our guests in a friendly, professional, and quick manner. Once the guest is seated, the hostess/host will inform them of their server name.
- We keep track of a server rotation. It is essential to sit guests in the appropriate waiter section and keep a constant rotation throughout the shift.
- Answering phone calls and transferring/taking messages appropriately.
