GENERAL POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for the manifest of export cargo. Ensuring documentation is accurate as per shipping details and instructions. Upon confirmation of sailing, documents must be released timely to shippers and/or freight forwarders. Handling Change of Destination after vessel sailing. Answering customer inquiries via phone, email, Live Chat. Correspond with internal and external customers as well as all overseas offices on a daily basis.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Send final copy of B/L upon confirmed vessel sailing and release

Print and release documents to shippers/forwarders via online or courier

Handle COD including ROB & Return/Ship-Back

Pre-Filing Manifest submission for cargo sailing out of Canada, CAMS and AFR

US Customs Filing (EEM) & Panama manifest submission

Inter-department communications via both verbal and written

Guide HMM Bond Usage and Close out In-Bond shipment after vessel sailing

e-Service https://www.hmm21.com/company.do Website Assistance for Web B/L customers

Send B/L papers based upon request

Approval process for Internet Original B/L registration

Performs other duties as assigned.
