The IT Systems / Network Analyst / Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and implementing information systems. The role’s main tasks are to identify analytical requirements and then to follow-up with the installation and maintenance of hardware and software based on our business needs. The individual will work with others to resolve computer, networking, and system issues and to identify opportunities for improved processes and work flows.
Essential Functions:
The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Enhance the end-user facing experience in providing support for hardware and software issues for laptops, desktops, monitors, and printers.
- Possess advanced knowledge and training in configurations installation, and troubleshooting for Windows and Apple / MAC IOS.
- Provide software support for Microsoft applications and cloud connectors.
- Code and interface with NetSuite ERP system integrating all systems and assist users with system reporting.
- Provide backup support for the ERP Manager.
- Plan, install, and maintain the network infrastructure - routers, switches, ethernet wiring, and ISP’s.
- Manage and optimize the servers with 3rd party administrator – SQL server and file servers.
- Manage the databases including Salesforce CRM and other ‘bolt-on’ software applications.
- Ensure daily production and operations hardware and software is operational, i.e., provide network device support for industrial printers, counters, test equipment, and integrations for UPS and Fedex systems.
- Maintain Disaster Recovery Plan and ensure all data is secured.
- Be the lead expert in compliance with cyber security protocols, hubs, and firewall.
- Assist in the installation of government compliant systems for FAR and NIST requirements.
- Provide the company with audio and video support.
- Administer the VOIP phone system, VPN, mobile devices, and cell phone administration.
- Provide daily management of email system.
- Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
- Lead the transformation to cloud computing.
- Evaluate business systems and ensures alignment with user and company needs.
