Pathway Homes is a private, nonprofit organization providing housing and services for adults with mental illness and other co-occurring disorders.
We are seeking highly compassionate and motivated individuals to join our Assisted Living team in Arlington. Our assisted living residential programs specifically serve adults with mental illness and other co-occurring disorders in Arlington County. We provide a supportive environment that fosters professional growth and development.
We have openings for full time day, evening and overnight Residential Support Specialists who have the QMHP-A certification by the Board of Counseling in the state of Virginia.
Schedules:
Day shift: Sun-Thurs 8a-4p
Evening shifts: Tue-Sat 4p-12a or Sun-Thurs 4p-12a
Overnight shift: Wed-Sun 12a-8a
The RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST:
- Provides direct supervision and assists individuals in learning independent living skills
- Provides supportive counseling
- Assists with developing, implementing, and monitoring residents’ individual service plans
- Provides case management
- Provides opportunities for social and community engagement.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team
- Monitors resident self administration of medications
- Monitors and reports any maintenance, health, fire, and safety issues
Required Qualifications: QMHP-A certification. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field. Intern or professional experience working with individuals with disabilities. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a driving record check. Must have a valid drivers license.
