We are is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for our busy OB/GYN office.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcome patients and visitors
- Check patients in and out
- Answer phones and direct the caller to the appropriate party or take a detailed message
- Schedule appointments
- Call patients to confirm or reschedule upcoming appointments
- Maintain the reception area
- Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information
- Verify insurance benefits at each patient appointment
- Record and collect copay's and balances on accounts
- Provide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office polices and legally required documents
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information (HIPAA)
- Maintain operations by following office policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- May cross train to other departments as needed

High school diploma or equivalent required- Medical office reception experience preferred
- Customer service experience required
