JOB SUMMARY
The Account Manager will focus on finding and winning new business, new business prospects and identifying new potential markets for selling products, developing new profit and revenue streams, and developing lists of potential prospects. In addition, this sales leader will maintain and grow Anomatic’s Beauty and Personal Care Packaging Customers and execute successful sales strategies for full package and packaging components. The Account Manager will manage current and new accounts in a fast-paced environment, requiring frequent interaction with design, packaging, purchasing, and quality teams to exceed customer expectations while maintaining profitability and production efficiency.

- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities through prospecting new leads, networking, and cold calling and overcomes objections when negotiating new leads.
- Maintains and services existing client relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Builds early trust with clients through frequent visits in person, via video chat, phone, email or through social media to close deals quickly.
- Searches for new opportunities and works independently to find leads without waiting for inbound search engine optimization leads or marketing campaign results.
- Develops and executes strategic plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Identifies and pursues opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services to existing clients.
- Negotiates contracts and agreements with customers, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with company objectives.
- Grows customer relationships in terms of revenue generated and account profitability.
- Conducts product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our products and services and provides guidance on product applications.
- Collaborates with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop customized solutions for clients.
- Identifies new trends and technologies that affect the sale of Anomatic packaging products.
- Prepares and analyzes reports on client interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics to identify trends, costs, revenue, and customer satisfaction, taking proactive measures to address opportunities and issues.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field preferred
- Three to five years of cosmetic or other packaging business to business sales and/or account management experience is required.
- Innate desire to generate new business by any means necessary.
- Experience in product development or design preferred.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events, both domestically and internationally

Salary Information
The salary range for this role ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 with bonus eligibility. The exact salary depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, candidate residency, etc.

If Yes, How Much (%): 75%
The Manager will travel frequently in the Greater NY area, including New Jersey and Connecticut and will travel regularly to Central Ohio for customers / prospects visits and internal meetings. Additionally, they will attend domestic and international trade shows.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but will serve as a coach and mentor for other positions both inside and outside the department.

Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., however, evening and weekend work may be required as business needs demand.
