OVERVIEW
In this role, the assembler performs electrical lighting within signs using various of hand and power
tools to assemble signs per production order. The assembler also monitors functional tests and inspects final product.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly prints.
- Assemble and install electrical, LED and other signage components.
- Operate machines or use hand tools and power tools to secure parts in place.
- Install finished assemblies or sub-assemblies.
- Assemble and attach functional and cosmetic hardware to assemblies using hand tools, power tools, and wrenches.
- Perform and monitor functional tests, following procedures and design requirements.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Previous experience in Manufacturing preferred
- Previous experience with electrical assembly preferred.
- Read, write and speak English.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Prior assembly experience preferred
- Prior experience using hand and power tools
- Must have knowledge of using a measuring tape
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly prints
- Must have basic mathematic skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- May be required to stand for 80 % of the working schedule.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
- May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers.
SHIFT:
- Second Shift: 2:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m. Plus 2nd Shift differential Pay
