We will be hiring for the position of a Full-time or Part-time Floral Designer to begin immediately for our boutique location at Westside Provision District, 1100 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta, GA. We are looking for someone who is highly passionate and motivated for a career in Floral, Event Design, and Sales.
Please note, as this role will be based in our Boutique, applicants must be comfortable working in a retail environment and assisting retail clients.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Design unique floral arrangements to display for sale with accurate pricing, as well as maintaining boutique compositions, plants, and displays to ensure premium presentation of product(s).
2. Cultivate and foster new and existing accounts/clientele by presenting all products and services to visitors of the Boutique.
3. Taking client orders and requests by receiving orders over the phone, e-commerce channels, and assisting clients within the boutique.
4. Assist with pick-up and processing of floral products, ensuring the proper handling of floral products.
5. Perform general cleaning and organizational duties to ensure optimal branding of Le Jardin Francais image and presentation.
6. As a member of the “Design Team” the Floral Designer will assist with floral and event production and installation outside the Boutique as the need arises.
7. Occasional errands and deliveries.
Job Requirements:
1. Previous experience in floral design and event design industry.
2. Knowledgeable in floral products and related items such as potted orchids, knowledge in perennials and ornamental shrubs is a plus, plant care, and handling; Our designs are primarily cut flowers and live plants.
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills, as the job requires frequent customer contact.
4. Excellent time management, punctuality, multi-tasking, and attention to detail with follow through from start to finish along with strong organizational skills are required.
5. Computer proficiency. Basic knowledge of e-commerce and POS systems is preferred but not required.
6. Strength to lift, pushes, or pull objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
7. Valid driver’s license is required.
8. Must have flexible availability to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
