Registered Nurse - Home Health
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Home Health team. As a Registered Nurse in Home Health, you will have the opportunity to provide quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust care plans accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on managing their health conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities
Skills:
- Proficient in specimen collection processing
- Strong nursing skills with the ability to provide high-quality patient care
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of discharge planning systems and processes
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding guidelines
- Competent in aseptic technique for wound care and other procedures
- Experience with electronic medical records systems, such as eClinicalWorks, is a plus
- Knowledge of botulinum toxin treatment administration is desirable
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [state]
