Responsibilities:
Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or fees
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate staff members
Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers or specialists as needed
Assist with basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering medications
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Diploma or Certification in Medical Assisting
- CPR or BLS Certification
- Previous experience working in a hospital or medical setting preferred

Pay: $23.00 - $27.92 per hour
