As a Physical Therapist Assistant, at Mountainview Regional Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Experience:
- May be a new graduate, but prefer one (1) to two (2) years of staff PTA experience.
- Desirable skills include proficiency in written and verbal communication, proficiency with computerized documentation, and the ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the public.
Requirements:
- Required: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program Assistant Program
- Required: Current license or eligible for license in the State of New Mexico.
- Required: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required - Due by close on the last day of the month after one full month of work.
About the Job:
- The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for administering physical therapy modalities of treatment under the plan of care of a licensed Physical Therapist as needed.
- This is performed to assist each patient reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
- This position is under the direction of the Therapy Services Director.
