Sales Associate
Team members handle tier one sales functions in a professional manner for counter customers by providing prompt and efficient service to achieve maximum sales and customer satisfaction. They greet customers and attempt to anticipate the customer’s needs.
- Exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude when greeting customers and answering their inquiries, being sensitive to their needs.
- Determine merchandise required by customer and suggest alternative, additional items, daily specials and discounts related to customer’s need and assist customers in locating items on shelves.
- Answer telephone calls and provide information.
- Assist and resolve customer complaints.
- Mix paint to tint colors per client specifications. Color match when necessary.
- Keep abreast of new product information and upcoming product promotions.
- Perform weekly maintenance of assigned area.
- Help check in/ put away daily paint/ sundries orders.
- Able to lift/carry 25 lbs.
- Assist warehouse personnel with loading and unloading trucks.
- Enter sales transactions and cash information in prescribed software.
- Handle daily closing duties (doors locked, front lights on, gates closed, etc.)
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
