Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing our maintenance operations, ensuring all equipment and facilities are well-maintained and functioning properly. This role requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as a passion for problem-solving and hands-on work.
Duties
- Manage and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure the upkeep of our facilities and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks to identify and address potential issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC systems, using tools such as logic controllers and volt meters.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize maintenance efficiency.
- Oversee and manage a team of maintenance technicians to ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities for maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt normal operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure that all maintenance and repair needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC systems and low voltage systems.
- Experience with logic controllers and the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
- Ability to manage a team of maintenance technicians and ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with CMMS software and the ability to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
