Overview: NORTHERN OHIO LUMBER & TIMBER is seeking an experienced and motivated sales leader to build and maintain a robust network of commercial and professional accounts. This role involves identifying and servicing the commercial fixtures and finishes needs of Project and Owner/Operator clients, particularly in the hospitality and entertainment venue category, municipal and county parks systems, and outdoor landscapes providers. The Senior Account Manager is a leader and will collaborate with Owner/Operators and their Architects & Designers to provide best-in-category indoor/outdoor solid wood finishes and fixtures solutions, hitting sales quotas, and delivering on sales objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Build and maintain a network of commercial and institutional accounts, understanding their specific indoor/outdoor finishes and fixtures (interior and exterior dining and gathering spaces) needs.
- Client Engagement: NOLT’s product lines are best-in-class. Work closely with hospitality and municipalities/parks, venues, owner/operators, architects, developers, and designers to identify and service their requirements.
- Product Knowledge: Needs to understand the restaurant, hospitality and major venue user-environment, and the Client’s needs in those spaces, related to solid wood fixtures/tabletops, benches/seating, wall and siding surfaces, outdoor patio spaces, and a new product transforming outdoor spaces: beautiful, natural thermally modified wood in exterior finishes, decking and outdoor furniture.
- Sales Targets: Achieve sales quotas and deliver sales objectives through effective account management and sales strategies.
- Presentations: Confidently present the company’s offerings to groups of potential stakeholders, on NOLT’s Architectural Harvest Interior/Exterior Finishes Division, and 1864 SERIES Indoor/Outdoor Furniture (FF&E) Division. With some training, expect to discuss major project construction (lumber and timber) products over time.
- Quoting: Deliver highly accurate quotes to clients, ensuring all details and requirements are meticulously addressed.
- Collaboration: Regularly work with sales coordinators and operations staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- CRM Management: Utilize CRM platforms such as Active Campaign and MS Outlook to manage customer relationships and sales processes.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven successful sales background with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Interpersonal Skills: Leadership skills, high energy, and strong interpersonal capabilities with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in quotes and client communications.
- Learning and Development: A strong desire to learn and succeed, staying updated with industry trends and product knowledge.
- CRM Proficiency: Knowledge and experience with CRM platforms and other fundamental apps such as Active Campaign, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to achieving sales goals.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with sales coordinators and operations staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
