Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Provide instruction in various subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve instructional materials
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment
- Provide guidance and support to students, acting as a mentor and role model
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to address student needs and concerns
- Stay updated on current educational practices and trends
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- PA Teacher of the Visually Impaired Certified
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles
- Proficiency in instructional design and curriculum development
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques
- Experience working with students who have special needs (e.g., deaf education, speech therapy)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to mentor and inspire students
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
