Resident Manager
Are you a responsible, customer-oriented individual seeking a unique opportunity to live on-site and make a difference in a residential community? We have an exciting position available for a Part-Time Resident Manager at our San Francisco property. As a Resident Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for residents, ensuring their safety, satisfaction, and comfort. This role requires living on-site in a studio unit provided by the owner and entails providing exceptional customer service while also fulfilling the responsibilities of a Compliance Coordinator and a Maintenance Coordinator. Additionally, the Resident Manager will be on-call for emergencies and accessible via phone at all times.
This property is located in an area that will require you to be at the building often and is ideal for someone who works from home.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary tenant liaison between residents and the property management office, fostering positive tenant relationships.
- Maintain the safety, security, cleanliness, and overall appeal of the property, ensuring it is an attractive place to live.
- Conduct daily building inspections and address cleanliness as needed.
- Receive and address maintenance requests from residents, coordinating with vendors to ensure prompt and efficient resolution.
- Track maintenance requests, dispatch vendors, and follow up to ensure completion of repairs.
- Coordinate access between vendors and residents, scheduling appointments and minimizing disruptions.
- Track annual certifications and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Receive and process work orders, utilizing property management software and ticketing systems.
- Ensure property sidewalk and entryway are free of encampments.
- Power wash the sidewalk as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing inquiries and concerns from residents.
- Monitor and address lease violations or non-compliance issues, collaborating with the Compliance Manager and Property Manager as needed.
- Be available on-call for emergencies and accessible via phone at all times.
- Maintain organized records of resident communication, work orders, and vendor interactions.
Qualifications:
- Ability to live on-site at the property in a unit provided by the owner.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in property management software, ticketing systems, and other relevant tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Familiarity with maintenance tasks and the ability to diagnose repair requests is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Availability to be on-call for emergencies and accessible via phone at all times.
- Prior experience in a customer service or property management role is advantageous.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations and processes is a plus.

Compensation
Full Rent Credit - Full rent credit on studio unit provided by the building. This accounts for approximately 48 hours of work per month in San Francisco.

- Turnover Timeline – 7 Days from move-out (standard) 10-days from move-out (heavy)
- Non-urgent maintenance requests completed within 3 business days
- Emergencies addressed within 24 hours
- Code Compliance 100% certification
